Updated pictures of the house
Here is our kitchen now. I think it looks a bit more "homey" than before. We found the kitchen table at an antique emporium (fancy name for a flea market) and it is one of those expandable tables, which is nice. I am thinking a rug under the table area would like nice (what do you think). I still need to spruce up the walls a bit but it's getting there!

Hi Kristin & Mark, I think your kitchen looks great!! I think a rug would warm it up where you have the tile floor and all. The back yard I don't know except there are lots of books on the subject but your mom is so good at deciding what plants should go where as her yard usually looked so nice with all the flowers she plants. Making it the way you want it is the fun part, do you have bird feeders and a birdbath? I love watching the birds now except the squirrels(spelt wrong) scare them away. Anyways I love what you have done. Love ya
